Dr. Jacob Kirkpatrick
Dr. Jacob Kirkpatrick joined Primary Pediatrics in 2026 and serves families in our Macon office.
A native of Rome, Georgia, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Shorter University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Kirkpatrick completed his pediatric residency in Macon, and he was selected to serve as chief resident.
Before joining Primary Pediatrics, he was assistant medical director of the pediatric emergency department at Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. He is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at Mercer University School of Medicine and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Dr. Kirkpatrick enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, and he cherishes the opportunity to walk alongside parents as they navigate raising a family. As a father of four children, he understands that parents often feel uncertain when navigating their child’s health. Dr. Kirkpatrick loves to offer reassurance, answer questions, and help when their child isn’t feeling well.
He joined Primary Pediatrics because he wanted to be part of a team that is passionate about giving families the best care and guidance. Dr. Kirkpatrick deeply respects the practice’s team of physicians, who continue to serve as mentors to him.
Outside the office, Dr. Kirkpatrick and his family attend Sojourn Church in Perry, Georgia. He enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, and traveling with his family.
