Same-Day Sick Appointments

Sickness doesn’t care what time it is, but we care about how fast we can treat your child’s sickness! That’s why we offer same-day sick appointments. When you notice your child producing symptoms, give us a call. We will give recommendations for immediate treatment and schedule a same-day appointment with your child’s pediatrician.

Child Life Specialist

We are thrilled to have a child life specialist on staff at our North Macon location. A child life specialist looks at the psychosocial care of patients and their families by providing distraction, emotional support, educational preparation for procedures, and developmentally appropriate techniques in order to best cope with all aspects of clinical care.

Meet Our Child Life Specialist: Helen Faircloth, CCLS

Helen Faircloth joined Primary Pediatrics as a child life specialist in 2019. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development, with an emphasis in Child Life. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their dog and family, and they love seeing good movies in the theater.
